It's 2009! Hurray! (-_-|||) Let me talk about how I spent Christmas last year. It was wonderful. On winter solstice (Dec 21), I dined with Mandy and Manyi in CWB. Siu Yuk gotta dine with her family at home so she didn't come. I'd bought gifts for each of them. Thank Mandy for her gift. I hope we can have a gathering (all four) in this month. Mandy is leaving for her studying in Switzerland (what a difficult spelling) for some weeks, then she'll go travelling in Europe. We wanna have a farewell for her. On Dec 23, I went to Tuen Mun Hospital for Christmas carolling. Not many from my church came. This is the second time I went there. I felt so happy when I saw the smiling faces of patients and their families (though we are not good singers!). On Christmas day, our church went carolling in the streets in Yuen Long at night. There were around a dozen of us, including two guitarists and Eddy Jie distributing the leaflets. Many passers-by saw us and smiled to us. A man even sang with us. This is the first time that I joined the church Christmas carolling. The next day, I went cycling with Vanilla, Denise and Ying Ying. We cycled from Tai Wai to Tai Po via Tolo Harbour. Denise fell off from her bike but luckily she didn't get injured. Her bike was then found not working so we decided to return our bikes. This day was cool and cloudy (nice weather) but a little bit crowded that we couldn't go very fast. In fact I haven't riden on a bike for ages!
Tomorrow (Jan 8) I'll have my lessons again. But I haven't done any work about my assignment yet. Being lazy. My brother's GF has brought her PS2 and Taiko No Tatsujin (太鼓の達人) to our home. I played a lot. My brother's GF is really good at playing this game (better than my brother). She can get a full combo in 紅 (with PS joystick, not a drum). And she has been playing it for only half a year! My father is travelling in Korea (skiing) and he'll be back tomorrow night. Hope he'll buy some kimchi for us. |
